Sleep.
Gavin woke at 4:00 with a very wet diaper. Then again at 4:15. I popped the paci in his mouth and went back to sleep. Then he woke again at about 6:00. I decided to let him cry. Not sure how long he cried, 10 minutes maybe and slept until 7:15! I will be trying to move his nap to a little later, keep him up until about 7:00 PM and then 'make' him sleep until 7:00 AM. I do see a light at the end of this tunnel with Gavin, now I just have to work on Sophia!

Oh Dandy, I remember those days. Keep following through, for some reason with children they need to see if you really mean it. So put on your happy face before you go to bed for the night,so when you are awakened before you should be you will be in "teacher" mode and not "mommy" mode.....cuz mommy's get cranky!!....and then follow through without argument just do what you are setting out to do!! You will get it done, give yourself a good week to retrain your babies. With Sophia I would talk about the clock and get her a simple clock so she can see exactly what time you want her to get up (you see I also had a first born daughter and I know how smart they are!) and remind her all throughout the day and then have her show you what time is the time that she can get up!! Firstborns want boundaries so Sophia will get it!!! Good Job Dandy! Mothering is challenging, but soooooo rewarding!
Love you, Kelley
